How To Release Hips

Are your hips super tight from all the sitting you've been doing?

In this video I show you how to release your hips. It's NOT a stretch. It's actually a RELEASE. This Gentle Somatic Yoga flow is a "magic move" because you can absolutely feel the difference when you do it.

Make sure to do it slowly with your eyes closed so you can focus on what you are feeling as you do it. NEVER work through pain. If you are experiencing pain, back off the move and completely relax.

When you learn how to release hips somatically, you'll find that it's not a stretch. It's working with your brain to re-pattern the tightly held contractions in this muscle. You will be actually working at the root cause of the problem.

You can do this move a few times a day if you are really tight. Make sure to bookmark this page so you have it to do whenever you have been sitting for a while (or driving which can tighten your hips) to reset the brain from the shortening of those hip flexors.
